On a pleasant sunny, September morning in Middlesbrough 13 Blyth runners gathered for the Tees Pride 10k. This was the 10th race of the grand prix season. Conditions were good with only a slight breeze.  Those who had done the race before knew this was a mostly flat one loop course....

Northumberlandia Trail 5k

LGBT 5K

Red Kite Trail Run

NE Youth Development League Meet 4

Churchill Playing Fields have become almost a second home for lots of our young athletes. For many, this is where they train, this is where they often compete. A strength and conditioning session is held at Bede Academy on a Thursday evening from 7 to 8 pm.  There is a small charge of £1 to cover the cost of hiring the hall.  All welcome.

Blyth High Jump Academy meet every Thursday at 6pm at Bede Academy. The session is for boys and girls in school years 5 and above looking to develop as athletes with the aim of succeeding in competitions. The cost of sessions is £2

The beginners group, organised by Lesley and Michelle, meet at 7:00 pm every Monday (except Bank holidays) at Blyth Quayside and is open to all abilities.
