On a mild, breezy evening 56 runners completed the
first race in this seasons Winter Series, first back was Steph
Ramsay, followed by juniors Joseph Dungworth and
Joseph Woods.
First team on the night was The Broons,
with their four counters packing well in 10th, 12th, 13th and 14th positions,
to give a low team score of 49 points, followed by Babes In The Wood with
62.
Gary Jones was the fastest finisher with 13:01,
Leanne Herron was fastest lady with 16:05.
It was encouraging to see some of the newer club members and a host of
juniors taking part and enjoying the race. Many thanks to the two Daves,
the Handicapper (Stig) and all the helpers on the night.
