Winter Series 2009/10 Race 1

[Wed 4th Nov 2009] On a cool, calm evening perfect for running 63 runners completed the first race in this seasons Winter Series, first back was U15 Scott Povey, followed by Heather Barrass and Dave Roberts. First team on the night was The Hare and the Tortoises with a low 25 points, followed by The Game with 62. Paul Whalley (taking it easy in his words), was the fastest finisher and only 3 secs outside the course record with 13:07, Leanne was again fastest lady with 15:23. It was encouraging to see so many of the newer club members taking part and enjoying the race. Many thanks to Keith, Dave, Andi Capper and all the helpers on the night.
