45 runners
completed the third race in this seasons Winter Series. This was 8 runners down on the second race
but considering the cold, windy conditions, the recent bad weather and the fact
that we were in the middle of the holiday period, not a bad turn out. First back was Ron Ingram (looking in fine
form after his recent holiday), who just pipped Kenn Turnbull in the run in, third was James Young. Ron’s good run led his team (Ron’s Runners)
into first place in the team event, just three points in front of Andrea and
her Boys. Peter Brown was fastest
finisher and Heather Christopher fastest lady.
