Wallsend Rising Sun MT 5M

[Mon 20th Apr 2009] Twenty nine Blyth runners took part in the local Wallsend Rising Sun Multi-Terrain race on Sunday 19^th April, this being the third of this year’s Grand Prix races. With the course being dry underfoot and with very little wind and cool conditions, it was an excellent day for running. First Blyth runner home was Robbie Barkley in 9th place with a time of 29:28, followed closely by Peter Brown (11th;29:54) and Paul Whalley (13th;30:22). Special mention for Gloria McCabe – nice to see you back running.
