Start Fitness Harrier League 2010/11 Race 2 – Farringdon

[30-Oct-2010]  Conditions were definitely improved for this, the second event of the Harrier League series – no rain and a bright, clear afternoon greeted the 763 runners in all categories. Considering the amount of rain recently, the course was in good condition with minimal mud underfoot.

With 367 runners setting off in the senior men's race, the first mile was slow due to congestion on the narrow tracks. An added complication was the decision by the organisers to add a short loop after the third lap to extend the race distance – this caused some confusion at the finishing funnel but hopefully they will sort it out for next year. First back for Blyth was Andrew Henderson in 47th place.
