Harrier League Race 4 – Wrekenton
[15-Feb-2010] The third Start Fitness NE Harrier League
event took place on Sat 13th Feb at the tough Wrekenton
course in good conditions but muddy underfoot.
We had full ladies and senior mens teams out,
with the ladies finishing 7th and the men 10th and still stuck firmly at the
bottom of their division.
In the U/13 boys race, Mark Nicholson was 16th, Joseph Dungworth 22nd and Stephen Doris 33rd. In the U/13 girls

race, Susanne had another strong run finishing 23rd, Helen was 38th and Leanne
51st (starting from the fast pack), these three were
ably supported by Julie (54th), Phillippa (82nd),
Joanne (102nd) and Sharon (103rd).
The mens race saw Craig first back for Blyth in 122nd position,
followed by Steve Richardson (174th), Graeme Stewart (187th), Dave Bradley (234th),
Ian Baxter (250th, good to see a new face at the XC), Ralph (273rd), Keith (275th)
and Terry (297th).
