Harrier League Race 3 – Jarrow

The third instalment of the Start Fitness NE Harrier League saw
everyone descending upon the new venue of Bedewell
Park, Jarrow for a relatively flat but increasingly muddy course.
First event of the day was the combined U11s' boys and girls
race with Josh Fiddaman winning yet again to make it
5 out of 5 cross-country wins this season, unfortunately we believe Josh has to
move up to the U13's for the remaining fixtures..
Lois
Trail competed in the U13 girl's race, finishing 42nd and Charlie, Alice and
Erin combined to finish as third team in the U15 girls event and now stand
fourth after the 3 fixtures so far.
The only other Blyth juniors competing were the two Josephs in
the U17 men's race.
The senior men had seven runners with Robbie leading the team
home in 69th place although Jake (starting from the medium pack) was the
fastest of seven with his actual time of 35:31.
The final race of the day was, as usual, the senior women's race,
where Susanne in 11th position led the team to fourth place in division 2 on
the day and they now stand in 5th after the 3 events.
