SUMMER CUP 2015  RESULTS  RACE 4

A cool blustery evening on Blyth seafront for race 4 of the summer cup resulted in generally slower times than normal. Making the best of the conditions was Gemma Harmon, winning by 7 secs from Lesley Falkous with Tony Holland a further 9 secs adrift in third. In the individual competition the top 3 places are now taken by 3 of our 'more mature' runners, with Steve Gillespie, Allan Kenny and Martin Gaughan on 72, 88 and 94pts respectively. "The Chocolate Monsters" were again first in the team competition, recording 23pts, some 50pts in front of "McCabes Mafia" in second place. In the overall team competition "The Chocolate Monsters" hold a 21pt lead over "Hot Tottie" on 85 and 64 pts respectively. Quickest on the night was Joseph Woods in a time of 14:12 and fastest female was Claire Calverley with 17:29. Thanks from the organisers to all the marshals, timekeepers and helpers.
